2018 ILADS PA Lyme Medical Conference, Hershey, PA

To provide a broader view of tick-borne diseases, including research updates, a review of critical challenges, diagnostics – current and future, and treatment using today’s strategies.

1. To provide an update on evolving perspectives and research on Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.
2. To discuss critical challenges in addressing the epidemic of Lyme and tick-borne diseases in Pennsylvania.
3. To review current state and innovations underway in testing and diagnostics.
4. To share the latest in diagnosis and treatment strategies, based on today’s knowledge, guidelines and available tools.
5. To explore less recognized manifestations of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases, including neuro-psychiatric and cognitive and CNS/neurological, with case discussions.
6. To expand understanding of Lyme, by exploring common co-infections in Pennsylvania, including Babesiosis (now a reportable disease in PA) and Bartonellosis.
7. To enhance knowledge-sharing between researchers and tick-borne disease medical experts with front-line practitioners and to foster development of networks for improved patient care.

MDs, DOs, NDs, DMD, DVM, PhDs, PsyDs, RNs, NPs, PAs, LCSW, DC’s and select other medical providers. ILADS members and medical students, residents, or interns may ask to register at a discounted rate.
