This conference is geared towards medical professionals who have a particular interest in learning more about the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne diseases. Information on advanced research and treatment protocols related to tick-borne illnesses will also be presented. Carmen Navarro, MD, is the program chair.
Saturday, June 8, 2019: On day one, scientific presentations will focus on the conference theme: Lyme Disease - Environmental Disease of the 21st Century.
Sunday, June 9, 2019: On day two, in the morning, the scientific presentations will continue. In the afternoon, there will be two separate tracks to choose from. Track A will be a Lyme Basics track, which novice and experienced physicians alike will find useful. Track B will focus on the interests of advanced clinicians.
There will be social events each evening to further enhance the registrants networking with doctors showing similar interest in tick-borne diseases.
Target Audience
This conference is designed for MDs, other medical professionals, and research PhDs in appropriate fields. In addition, medical and PhD students, residents, and interns may attend.
