Course Directors Mualla McManus, PharmD and Andrew Petersen, DO have planned a series of provocative lectures which will help you develop insights as to a global perspective on the tick-borne disease processes.

Exhibitors will be on-site displaying their latest products from Thursday through Sunday noon.  They will be showcasing products and services relevant to medical professionals who treat tick-borne diseases.

We are offering plenary sessions by highly regarded scientists from all over the world.  Additionally, the breakout session speakers will give you clinical pearls, which will help you to help your patients.  We expect this meeting to sell out.  Please visit our Logistics page to see about reserving your hotel room at the Boston park Plaza Hotel.

Thursday offerings include the Lyme Fundamentals course for practitioners who want to brush up their clinical skills and for those who are new to treating Lyme disease.  This one-day track gives specific step-by-step guidance with ample opportunity to ask questions of the expert faculty. Additionally, we are offering a new track on Thursday, New Perspectives on Lyme Challenges, which we think you will find appealing.  Andrew Petersen, DO has organized a daylong track, which will look at tenacious challenges found in a Lyme patient, and examines them from new medical perspectives. We encourage patients to attend this meeting.  Physicians are welcome as well.

The Pioneer in Lyme Award dinner, Friday, will honor the lifetime achievement of Robert C. Bransfield, MD, past president of ILADS. Dr. Bransfield has most recently been applauded for his work on Lyme and Suicide. This fun evening will feature an elegant dinner with a New England flare and surprise entertainment.  ILADEF, the research arm of ILADS is sponsoring the event and will be the beneficiary of funds raised that evening.  ILADEF sponsors the Physician Training Program, which has helped train hundreds of Lyme experts.  Join us in rubbing shoulders with the Who's Who in the Lyme community.
